Lisa Kuesel Traynor

Lisa Kuesel Traynor

Owner/Founder

Lisa Kuesel Traynor is the owner and founder of Synergy Gymnastics. She is a leader with over 30+ years of experience in the health, wellness and education fields, having graduated from West Chester University with a B.S. degree as a Health and Wellness Specialist, as well as a M.S. degree in Exercise and Sport Physiology. She recently spent 18 years as a Chief Operating Officer at an insurance company, and previously served as Director of the Graduate Hospital Executive Health and Sports Medicine Center before creating her own company, Premiere Health and Fitness. She has also served as an adjunct professor at both West Chester University and Cabrini College. Aside from her love for gymnastics, she enjoys teaching group fitness, dance, theater, and spending time with her husband and two children. Lisa believes strongly in the importance of female empowerment and leadership, and founded Synergy to make a difference in the lives of the female athletes and coaches that we work with. She is also CPR certified, ACE fitness certified, as well as USAG Safety Certified and compliant.

Mandy Grahn

Head Coach/Program Director

Mandy Grahn is a Head Coach and Program Director at Synergy Gymnastics Training Center. Mandy began coaching gymnastics at the Brandywine YMCA in Coatesville, PA in High School and has never looked back. She was a competitive gymnast for 12 years, including three years at the collegiate level and was team captain her junior year.  Mandy transferred to Immaculata University in the Fall of 2012 and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training in 2015. At Immaculata University, Mandy was a member of the women’s lacrosse team, on the Dean’s list and President of the Exercise Science Honor Society. Mandy is currently a certified athletic trainer.  She loves being able to tie her knowledge of exercise physiology into training the girls by leading them through sport specific strength and conditioning circuits. Mandy empowers our girls to be confident, strong and independent. Coaching and sharing her love for the sport of gymnastics is truly Mandy’s passion, and she is extremely excited to be coaching our girls. She is USAG Safety Certified, background checked and also certified in CPR, first aid and basic life support.

Molly Dalton

Head Coach

Molly Dalton is a Head Coach at Synergy Gymnastics Training Center. Molly started gymnastics at the age of 6 and has loved it ever since. Molly became a level 9 gymnast at age 11 and made it to level 10 when she was 15 years old. She graduated from Temple University in May 2019 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. Molly and Mandy are cousins, so they really enjoy a team approach towards sharing their love for gymnastics with the female athletes that they work with. Gymnastics has made her who she is today and she wouldn’t change it for the world. She is USAG Safety Certified and Background checked.

Rachel Page

College Recruiting

A former level 10 and elite gymnast, Page has been a JO coach for over 25 years, including the head optional coach and program director at All Around Gymnastics and Gymnastix Training Center in GA. In her tenure, she’s produced countless regional and national qualifiers and champions. She also played a significant role in the recruiting process for her athletes to obtain college scholarships and other opportunities.

In the fall of 2020, Page was named Assistant Coach for Temple University. She served as the primary vault and floor coach, as well as recruiter for future student athletes.

In 2021, Page’s contributions helped lead the Owls to a historic season, breaking records in nearly every category. Temple’s primary floor and vault coach, she led the Owls to record-setting season. Temple was also crowned EAGL Conference champions and earned a team spot at the NCAA Championships for the first time since 1994.! For her efforts, Page earned WCGA Northeast Region Assistant Coach of the Year honors.

She was also a performer in Cirque du Soleil.

Tara Percival

Team Coach

Tara Percival started gymnastics at the age of 5 and instantly feel in love with the sport. She competed through her Junior year of high school at Level 9, and then went on to attend Penn State University. While at Penn State, Tara joined the club gymnastics team and competed all four years on the Level 9/10 team, and she was the team captain during her senior year. Tara graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology (the science behind human movement and exercise physiology). Tara’s many years of gymnastics competition, along with her degree in Kinesiology helps to bring a wealth of knowledge to the Synergy Team!

Jade Sadowski

Team Coach

Jade Sadowski participated in gymnastics for 14 years, competing one year Division III at SUNY Brockport, and now gets to share her passion with others as a team coach. Her favorite events to practice and compete on were vault and beam. Being a part of a collegiate team taught her that the real sport of gymnastics is teamwork, leadership, and always having each other’s back. She wants to pass this onto others so they can value the sport and also use these qualities in the long run! She is currently working towards Physician’s Assistant programs and is a medical assistant at a dermatology practice. She is also CPR certified.

Alexa Phillips

Team Coach

Alexa was a gymnast for 16 years and trained at Galaxy Gymnastics in New York.  She was a four-time JO National Qualifier, and she received a full scholarship to WVU as well as Temple University where she finished her degree in Criminal Justice. She is proud to have placed 4th at Nationals as a level 10 Gymnast in high school. Among her many highlights, she was the first Temple gymnast to write herself into the record books as Bars champion at the ECAC as a college gymnast!  Alexa is thrilled to bring her talent and knowledge to the team at Synergy.

Coach Ellen has previously competed in gymnastics from age 6 to 18 and has been coaching gymnastics for 10 years. Ellen holds a USAG safety certification and is a USA professional member. She is passionate about teaching competitive gymnastics and guiding gymnasts to their full potential. She believes in instilling a love for gymnastics and a drive for success in all of her students.

Team Coach

Zoie competed gymnastics and trained up to level 9 from ages 6-15 and has a strong passion and love for the sport. In 2018, she was the silver medalist in the all around at her state championship meet. In high school, Zoie was a captain for her school’s track and field team and also coached gymnastics. Currently, she is student at Immaculata University. Zoie is motivated to ensure her students’ success and is eager to contribute her knowledge to the team.

Amanda Lane

Team Coach

Amanda Lane has been involved with gymnastics for her entire life. After competing throughout her childhood, she joined the Ursinus College gymnastics team, where she was a beam specialist. While at Ursinus, she majored in exercise science with minors in coaching and psychology. She also has a masters in elementary education from Johns Hopkins University. Amanda has been a coach since she was 14 years old and is currently a USAG certified judge through Level 9. She is excited to bring her knowledge and passion for the sport to the team at Synergy.

Jada Traynor

Team Coach

Jada is a founding member of the Synergy Gymnastics team and competed through her senior year as a second year Level 9 gymnast. She currently attends the George Washington University and competes on their club gymnastics team in both the women and men’s events. She loves the sport of gymnastics and the discipline and strength it builds in athletes. Jada is founder of Synergy Youth Sports, our 501C3 non-profit, which provides scholarships to our graduating seniors and families in need. While home on break, Jada helps coach our rising Level 3 and 4 gymnasts, helping them to prepare for their upcoming season.

Team Coach

Morgan has a passion for the sport of gymnastics and is thrilled to be coaching at Synergy. She competed in trampoline and tumbling through Level 7 and then coached artistic gymnastics in her hometown throughout high school. After graduating from West Chester University, Morgan began coaching again. She can be seen coaching our Level 3 girls as well as our recreational and team prep classes, and she loves helping the athletes reach their goals.

SK Reiser

SK Reiser

Dance Coach

Sarah Kim (SK) Reiser was born in Seoul, South Korea and grew up in upstate New York. She trained at the Albany Dance Institute, NYSSSA, and the University of the Arts. She has performed with the Berkshire Ballet, EBA Dance Company, and the Penn Dance Company performing professional ballet and modern dance repertory. SK is Founder and Artistic Director of Nova Dance Company and has produced many evening-length shows and several side projects during the company’s 12 years. As a member of the American Ballet Theatre national training program, she has developed curricula and taught for Trinity Homeschool for the Arts, First State Gymnastics, City of Newark Dance Program, and University of Delaware. Currently, SK teaches strength and barre classes at Purenergy Studio, ballet and modern at Simply Dance and Synergy Gymnastics, and is a third year PhD student in Cancer Biology at The Wistar Institute.
