Summer Session
**If your child needs to make-up a class, please fill out the following form. You may make-up ONE class per session in another regularly scheduled class or during an Open Gym session. Make-up classes do not transfer to new sessions.
When will my child progress to the next level?
Your gymnast may be asked to move to the next level when they have mastered the necessary skills for their level and are mature enough to do so. Gymnastics is a sport of progression, which involves mastery of difficult physical skills, the ability to listen, take coaching and make corrections, as well as natural physical talent and ability. It requires physical strength, mastery of flexibility and core/body tightness. Some children have natural born talent, but most have to work very hard to progress, while many will not progress beyond a certain level.
CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Tumbling: Private lessons only.
Open Play Gym: Ages 2-10 with parent/guardian. An open gym format to explore the gym, crawl, walk, flip and have fun on our equipment and airbags. Ages crawling to ten. A punch card can be purchased on our Synergy Gymnastics App, and never expires!

Training time will include our preschool set of bars, low beams, colorful cones, hoops, bean bags, obstacle courses, and trampolines!
Mighty G’s: Our Mighty G’s class is for boys and girls in preschool, ages 4 and 5. Basic skills include forward rolls, backward rolls, head stands, jumps on trampoline, holding onto bars, and following directions and moving through obstacles courses.
Girls Beginner: Our beginner class is for girls 6 and older who are interested in getting started in gymnastics. This is our entry level class. In this class Synergy Coaches will work with the girls on basic fundamentals of gymnastics and building confidence in their skills on all four events. Some skills include forward rolls, backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, pullovers and walking on the balance beam.

Girls Intermediate: Girls will move to the intermediate class when they have mastered the beginner class and have been recommended to move up to the next class level by a Synergy coach. The Intermediate class is our next stepping stone after the girls’ beginner class. In this class Synergy Coaches will work with the girls on skill progressions on all four events as well as continue to build confidence in their skills. Some skills include jumps on the beam, roundoffs, back bends, handstand, forward roll and back hip circles.
Girls Advanced: Girls will move to the advanced class when they have mastered the intermediate class and have been recommended to move up to the next class level by a Synergy coach. Some skills that they will work towards with drills include but are not limited to back walkovers, round offs, back hip circles, glide swings, handstand flatbacks and handstand bridge kick-overs. Pre-Team girls are encouraged to practice all year round, summer included. Average age is 7-9 years old.
Mini-Prep: This class is invite only by one of the Synergy Coaches. Our Mini-Prep class practices 2x per week for 1 hour and 30 minutes and is a feeder program to our competitive team program. Mini-Prep girls are encouraged to practice all year round, summer included. Gymnasts in our Mini-Prep class show a lot of potential to make our team program from a very early age. Gymnasts invited to this class must be between the ages of 4-7 years.
Xcel Prep: This class is invite only by one of the Synergy Coaches. Our Xcel Prep class practices 2x per week for 1 hour and 30 minutes and is our feeder program to our competitive Xcel team program. During our team practices gymnastics will learn skill progressions, flexibility, routine sequences, skill upgrades, strength training and more. Our team program requires gymnasts to practice all year round, summer included. Average age is 6-18 years old.
Pre-School Play & Learn: This program is geared towards pre-school children ages 3 up to 6. During this 2 hour block, children will have an opportunity to develop gross motor skills through play and structured fun activities in our beautiful facility, expand social and emotional skills, and engage in fun age-appropriate learning activities. No gymnastics experience is necessary. Coach Amanda, a certified teacher of 20+ years, will be leading the Pre-school Play and Learn sessions. Families can sign up for just one day, or register for both the Monday and Wednesday programs at a discounted price. Parents are welcome to drop off or they can wait in our parent lounge with coffee, wifi and observation televisions.
Important Guidelines for Classes:
Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your class starts, and have young children use the restroom at home if possible before class. Shoes, socks, outerwear and water bottles can be stored in the cubbies within the gym, and should be taken home after every class. Boys should wear comfortable shorts/sweats and a t-shirt/tank for classes. Girls can wear the same, or wear a leotard if they have one. Anyone with long hair should have it pulled back in a ponytail, and no jewelry should be worn. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out. We look forward to working with your children!
